More than a glow up
After building and exiting one of Australia’s cultural media mainstays, Co-founder Chris banded together to create Linkby. The goal? Take the accountability of performance media but none of the generic, banner ad blindness. Instead, fill it with the zeitgeist riding power of PR. The result? Performance PR. Interesting, news worthy content, syndicated at speed and placed in front of everyone who is interested. However, after 5 years of proving their capabilities, Linkby was well overdue a makeover.






















So, we sat down, workshopped ideas and discussed the final points of their ambitions. It became clear that this was no minor refresh, this was a complete overhaul.

An identity with real personality
It was clear from our process that Linkby needed to amplify its presence - locally and abroad. With that in mind and after a few manifestos, we landed on the idea that Linkby was the catalyst, the nucleus and the spark all in one - driving the buzz for brands worldwide. We redesigned the wordmark and simplified the ‘link’. A gallery of custom art was designed, inspired from insights and themes. The pink and orange was intensified and complimented with an expanded palette.















Flat icons became 3D, beautiful gradients and speckled noise added texture whilst holding light.

Putting it on blast
The website was designed from the ground up, with bold headings, touches of motion and more. At the heart of Linkby is the incredible access it enables for brands, so we spent time working on an approach that allowed the team to clip articles from their syndication, but resize them and maintain visual consistency with the rest of the Linkby brand feel.












Linkby launched the new brand and website with a bang. We’re so proud, we’re blushing.
